Q: How is payment expected?

A: Payment is expected in advance, and can be made in either of two methods:
1) With PayPal- This is the preferred method, and discounted rates are offered for prepayment with PayPal. I will email you a PayPal invoice for the agreed-upon amount. You do not have to have or sign up for a PayPal account to pay this way. For shows paid for via PayPal and then cancelled, refunds will be made via PayPal, with any appropriate cancellation fees deducted, see below.
2) In cash, prior to the show.

Q: What if I book you, and then I cancel the appearance?
A: I require a 15% cancellation fee for cancellations made less than 5 days before the show date, and a 30% cancellation fee for cancellations less than 48 hours (two full days) before the show date.
Long before the show starts, I invest significant time and energy creating a customized show program. Also, I may have already turned down other engagements based on accepting this show.
Cancellations more than 5 days before the show date are not charged a fee.

Q: Do you go to performances alone?
A: No, I do not. I always bring an escort with me, so do not be surprised when you see two people instead of one.

Q: What do you need when you get here?
A: I will need:
1) Someplace to change (can't drive in full costume), a bathroom is fine.
2) A debris-free performance area at least 5' x 5' (the bigger the dance space, the better the show).
Note: I prefer a smoke-free environment for the show, but if this is an issue, please let me know. It's something I can work through, if truly necessary.

Q: What if a guest gets rowdy?
A: I define rowdy as out of control. Groping, lewd/crude comments, etc. interfere with my ability to perform. In that case, either the person is removed from my area (host's responsibility), or I take my fee and leave immediately. End of show.

Q: Is tipping allowed?
A: Certainly. I find that many people are actually intimidated to tip, but as long as it is respectfully done (i.e., not in the bra cups, no groping!), there is no problem. There are actually several ways to tip belly dancers. The preferred method is gently tossing bills over the dancer's head (sometimes called a money shower), instead of placing them in the costume. This way, the performance is not interrupted, and the dancer doesn't risk getting food/drink on her expensive costume.

Q: What if I book you, and then you have to cancel on me?
A: Be assured that I will not cancel except in cases of severe illness or extreme family emergency. If that occurs, I will arrange for another quality dancer to perform in my place, and all the FAQs apply to her as well.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions --
I look forward to our business together.
